Latest Firing – Before and After

It’s always exciting / nerve racking to load up the kiln, never being entirely sure exactly how the colours or the glazes and slips will come out. Here’s a picture of the work going in the other day…

And below – how it looks on the way out! (A successful outcome, very happy with the colours).

Below are some more pictures of the recently fired work. Several commissions in this group. Stonewall/stoneware serving dish put straight into use. Dramatic Landscape platter,  and small drinks pot… coffees etc.  And useful for New glaze tests ( not all successful!) And a babies hands and feet…. Keep plugging away.  Click to enlarge the images below.
