Jim’s first foray into the world of Zoom Workshops at the invitation of the Westcountry Potters Association (www.westcountrypotters.co.uk).
In this video, with the help of his trusty niece Sophie, he demonstrates the construction of a slab-based vase, with decoration and glazing techniques. Also a brief tour of some studio elements, various making and preparation techniques as well as a discussion of the firing process. Some audience questions are answered at the end of the video.
