In 1975, Jim and his wife Liz moved into Holmfirth and the dream of a studio venue in which to make, display and promote Ceramic Art began.  

Artists on show are among the talented people who have studied and worked with Jim over the years. Styles include Advanced Slab techniques, Skilled wheel Throwing, and Extruded shapes.

Each maker has his own approach to form and surface;  texture, coloured slips, complex glaze applications and kiln firing techniques create pieces you will want to touch and admire.

Venue Information . Booth House Gallery is clearly signposted off Woodhead road, via Shaw Lane up the hill.  Or off Greenfield Road via Black Syke lane. 

There is a free car park and the venue is accessible.
